Pure Retirement are delighted to have been named as Yorkshire's most profitable SME in last week's Yorkshire Post. It's an enormous honour which cements their recent growth, and comes off the back of both winning the Ward Hadaway-supported Yorkshire Fastest 50, and achieving 34th position in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 for 2018.
With profits that have both risen 47% year on year and are 30% higher than the next most profitable SME in Yorkshire (in addition to a turnover which has risen by a third year-on-year), the latest results confirm Pure Retirement as an organisation undergoing a period of sustained – and sustainable – growth.
Last year the company saw their workforce grow by 40% and ended 2018 by moving into prestigious new offices on the ever-expanding Thorpe Park development on the outskirts of Leeds. This is both emblematic of their progress and of their dedication to providing employees with the best possible working environment, achieving a Gold standard Investors in People accreditation, and continuing to build on the strong foundations of the past twelve months.
Speaking of the win, CEO Paul Carter says: "After a year where we saw unprecedented levels of recognition and plaudits from our peers within the financial sector, to have received such accolade from the wider commercial community on both a regional and national level is an incredibly satisfying feeling. We're fortunate to have built up a hugely dedicated and talented team who have contributed immeasurably to all our recent successes, and to have won these awards truly rewards all their commitment and hard work, an approach which we're pleased to see is appreciated by the wider business community"
