Gemma Grove

My current position is as Customer Account Technical Manager, and the team I work with are responsible the ongoing servicing of all of our customer’s accounts after the mortgage completes. The work we do is extremely varied as we can be looking at further borrowing applications, partial redemptions, porting applications and much more on a daily basis. I really enjoy working with my team to resolve complex issues and the commitment they show to giving great service to our customers is fantastic. Outside of work, I love spending time with friends, family and my cat Carl.

Michelle Hawley

I have been working at Pure for 18 months now. I am an underwriter at Pure and also work in the servicing team. The thing I most enjoy is the fact that we provide excellent customer service. We are rewarded for working hard and I do not feel that we are just another number. We are appreciated. I am married to Dean and have two boys Mathew who is 27 and Lewis who is 17. In my spare time I have just taken up cycling which is great fun and a good way to keep fit. Although, I won’t be doing the tour de France any time soon there is nothing better than been out in the fresh air burning those calories.

Laura Baxter

I have worked in mortgages for 12 years and joined Pure in October last year. I’m on the servicing team and enjoy the variety of work from underwriting applications to dealing directly with customers who want to port their lifetime mortgage. Working at Pure is totally different to what I&rqsuo;m used to as it is a smaller company. However, you do feel valued here and everyone works well together. Outside of work I like spending time with my son, going out with friends, doing boot camps and doing random things like skydiving, I am always looking for a challenge.

Patrick Courtney

Having joined the company in May 2017 I am still fairly new to Pure but the office environment is very friendly and I have been made to feel part of the team. Being part of a smaller company gives me greater job satisfaction as you can see the day-to-day impact you are having. In my spare time I am usually either playing football or at Elland Road cheering on Leeds United. I enjoy travelling and I have spent a year in Australia and South East Asia.

Mathew Roberts

I have spent my career in financial services working for banks, building societies and solicitors along the way. Having recently joined Pure as a Customer Account Servicing Team Manager the culture is first class and is like nothing I have experienced before, everyone knows the importance of the work we do and deliver exceptional levels of customer service to our customers each and every day. Having worked for household names in my previous roles Pure has all the hall markings and will fast become a household name within the Equity Release market. In my spare time I enjoy travelling to new destinations and my more recent passion is the art of Powerlifting.

Calvin Shaw

I really enjoy working in an environment where everyone helps each other and supports each other continuously. Love the way we are all rewarded for the success of the company and for the hard work we all put in. It’s also the small touches of thanks and treats from the seniors and management that make it all worthwhile. Outside of work I can be found taxiing my kids around North Yorkshire to gym comps and football matches, and sometimes, when the weather allows, I can be found hacking it round Fulford Golf Club or at Headingley watching the Rhinos.

Natalie Hawkins

I joined Pure Retirement in January this year and it really is a great place to work! The atmosphere is always very positive and the teams are so helpful and friendly. I’m really happy and very grateful to be part of Pure. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me with my two dogs, Jaxon and Cooper, both Yorkies, both a little naughty but both very cute!

Since joining Pure as a member of the Mortgage Application Support Team in 2017 I have moved into our Customer Account Servicing Team, where I proudly contribute to servicing over 1 billion pounds’ worth of lending. Rachel Peatfield

Since graduating from University and having a brief career in retail and education, I found myself in the financial industry and have worked in this sector for 5 years now. I joined Pure in 2017 on the Completions Team and have since progressed to be the Quality Assessor for the Customer Accounts Servicing Team. I love the challenges and learning opportunities that my role brings and how everyday can be different and I am excited to build a future within the company. I have a young daughter so most of my free time is spent at soft play areas or having picnics in the park and trying to cram as much quality time in with her as possible. I also enjoy trying new restaurants and attending comedy gigs with my partner and having cocktails with the girls.

Dawn Dunbar

I have worked in Fraud & Disputes for the last 12 years at a high street bank. I am looking for a new challenge away from a Call centre environment. My son Harry is 18, he wants to be an Engineer and has just been offered a place in London, my daughter Emily is 16, she just wants to be a Kardashian!!I split myself between Leeds and Rotherham as this is where my boyfriend Bryan lives. I have a Golden Retriever called Hugo, I love red wine, Gin and holidays.

Linda Miles

I joined Pure in August 2018. I have worked in the Banking sector since 1976 and joining Pure was a refreshing change. Pure have excellent company values, all staff are welcoming and supportive and team work plays a massive part in what we do and moving to Pure was a good decision for me. Outside of work I enjoy reading, quizzes, travel and exploring new places and catching up with family and friends.

Joanne Longbottom

I have worked in financial services for about 21 years with a short deviation into waste management but this wasn’t for me. My main role in life has been raising my children, however they’re all grown up now so I have a lot more time to fill, my weekends are usually spent going out for long walks with my dog - Peppa, I love being outside in the fresh air.

Jodie Hollingdrake

I have recently joined Pure and also recently relocated to Leeds. My background has mainly been within Finance roles. I am enjoying my new role in the Servicing team so far and have been made to feel very welcome. In my spare time I love to travel and spend time with my pooch Roo who is a miniature Dachshund/Beagle.

Daniel Armitage

Come from Leeds building society working there for 2 and a half years as well as working for a financial adviser for a year and 3 months. I have only been at pure for 2 weeks and can safely say it is the best place I have worked at so far as everyone is so helpful and there doesn’t seem to be any sort of divide between any of the teams. My long term goal is to go back in to Financial Advice as an Adviser. A fact about me is that I am known by my mates as the worst dancer of the group, I’m that bad there’s actually an Instagram page dedicated to it.

Annabel Taylor

I’ve now been in financial services for four years and before joining Pure I was working as a Mortgage Adviser. My role at Pure involves the servicing of existing Lifetime Mortgages which means every day is very different. Prior to moving into financial services I’ve worked in a variety of different industries including journalism, Heritage and more recently, the Church of England. I like to fill my spare time with lots of hobbies and I’ll usually be either hiking with my dog, Pip, travelling around the UK exploring medieval sites or frequenting vintage fairs.

I have recently joined Pure after a number of years working within financial services. From first impressions the culture, ambition and general atmosphere of the company make it a really great place to work. Hi I’m Kieran I am very excited to have moved over to Pure from Age Partnership. I only started in January 2020 but so far Pure seems like an amazing place to work and I feel like being part of the servicing team is a great opportunity as I can already feel the department is moving forward.
